Stephen Whittaker is an artist from Auckland, New Zealand. He is currently living and working in Paris.
Recent work focuses on the constant recognition of a human presence. A dynamism, a figure, that both consciously/subconsciously helps us place all things on our own emotional scale. A recognition which can bring seemingly unrelated subjects/occurrences into a familiar human representation.
His work has been exhibited most recently in Paris and is held in the collection of the James Wallace Arts Trust in New Zealand.
